Creative Movement Therapy (CMT), also known as Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) is a sciencebacked modality that uses expressive movement for cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development. Studies prove CMT helps children improve memory, focus, resilience, selfconfidence, and leadership skills while supporting mental health and emotional well-being. By blending dance, movement, and therapy, students experience learning that is joyful, engaging, and deeply transformative.
Unlike regular dance classes focused on choreography and performance, CMT prioritizes cognitive development, emotional expression, self-discovery, self-esteem building, and mindful movement. Every session is designed to bolster confidence, address learning difficulties, build social skills, and build self-awareness. Children are encouraged to explore their own movement vocabulary, create freely, and experience the therapeutic benefits of movement in a nurturing, non-competitive environment.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 advocates experiential, holistic, and inclusive learning, integrating arts and movement for cognitive, physical, and emotional development.
The National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and CBSE guidelines prioritise creative arts, movement, value-based education, and health in curricula. Education experts highlight early exposure to arts, movement, and Indian Knowledge Systems as key for foundational development, emotional regulation, and lifelong learning.
